Fantasy Fest: Luv2Glow || Key West, FL
(We have a general overview of Fantasy Fest here)
The annual Luv2Glow Party is a manic, glow-in-the-dark romp. It’s a costumed club party as opposed to a sex BDSM party, but skin and sexy vibes are still ever-present. Just like with most Fantasy Fest events, tickets are only sold at the venue the week leading up to the night. Check their website for exact information; it’s always safest to have cash on hand to buy the tickets (just in case).
The Luv2Glow party is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a rave inspired theme. You must be glowing for entry (glow sticks, light up shoes and accessories, glow paint, blinking belts and sunglasses, etc). As always, you can never be overly-costumed or too over-the-top at Fantasy Fest so costume yourself to your heart’s desire. The venue is Rick’s Key West on Duval Street. It’s two floors and the glow party is exclusively upstairs. DJ, dance floor, and multiple bars are upstairs, along with a patio walkway, photo-op areas, and a more private bar with it's own DJ (it was quiet when we first did a walk-around, but then it was packed once people discovered it). You can also walk downstairs to the street level which is open to the public but they have a live band (some nights during Fantasy Fest it was country, others it was 90s heavy metal), bar, and bathrooms. You need a wristband in order to go back upstairs to the Glow party. Also on the street level is Angelina's Pizzeria, which is the best greasy pizza on Duval that you can buy by the slice but prepare to wait in line. It’s my go-to late night drunk food at Fantasy Fest.
The dance floor was packed and there was a lot of grinding and sharing of dance partners. Dax and I danced hot and heavy with my ass grinding against his cock and straddling his upper thigh. It was fun to get lost in the music and frenetic heat of the night. We were then joined by our friends and at that point I can’t say who was dancing with whom, or which hands were on my hips and who was nuzzling my neck. It was a euphoric, glowing blur.
My light-up pasties are my favorite. There’s a button to turn them off and on (which is an added bonus because I ask sexy strangers if they'd like to help me with the switch) and they’re reusable so they last a long time and can be worn to multiple events. They have different settings for flashing, solid, etc. The only thing is that you don't really notice that they're on in the daylight or even under brightly lit street-lamps. So I suggest using these for events in dark spaces to get the full effect.
________
During the second week of Fantasy Fest the city restricts car traffic at night for several blocks of Duval St. (it feels like a smaller version of Bourbon St. in New Orleans). So the best part about events this week is that once you’ve had your fill of dancing and partying, there’s more debauchery to join on the street. After we left the Luv2Glow party, we wandered Duval and enjoyed the costumes, playfulness, and energy of the street scene while also showing off our own sexy outfits and glowing vibes.

Side Note: If you’re looking for a low-key activity before Luv2Glow, the Pet Masquerade is a derpy cute time. It’s off of Duval but on the waterfront, so you’ll need to Uber or plan time for a walk. Free to attend but all donations go to the Lower Keys Friends of Animals foundation. It’s a family-friendly community event with lots of love and laughs. We showed up in our Luv2Glow costumes (with a little extra coverage) and turned some heads but hey, it's Fantasy Fest.
