Naked Bungee Jumping || Nanaimo, Canada
Naked bungee jumping… yes really. The first and only time either of us have bungee jumped. Wild Play in Nanaimo, Canada has an annual naked bungee day to raise proceeds for mental health. The idea is that people with mental health disorders feel exposed every day, we can do it for one. Nanaimo is a small city on Vancouver Island and Wild Play is tucked in a pretty wooded area overlooking a river. We stayed in Vancouver and rented a car. It was about a 3 hour drive from the city so we made a day-trip out of it. They have plenty of parking and everything was very organized.
The year that we went they had naked bungee day in February so it was COLD! We reserved our spots ahead of time, got up early to drive over there, walked into the shop and they were all ready for us. We were clothed as we signed our wavers, then they just point to the stairs leading up to a bridge and you’re on your way. We walked up a lot of spiraling stairs clothed, disrobed on the bridge, left our clothes in a pile, and got in line.
It wasn’t packed but there were definitely a fair amount of people. People of all ages, shapes, and genders. We stood in a line of equally nude jumpers and watched as everyone leapt off the bridge above the river. Everyone looked so brave as I felt my knees starting to buckle. When it was our turn, we went tandem. They wrapped a dish cloth around our ankles, and strapped the cord around the dish towel. I remember blurting out “that’s it between me and that river”? The answer was a silent nod. They had an expert double check their work (thank god), then they had us face each other, cock to pussy, and wrap our arms around each other like a big hug. I asked how to keep our skulls from crashing against each other, and they said that centrifugal force (or something to that effect) takes care of it for you. When you go tandem (at least at this location), they don’t let you jump on your own but instead we stood with the razor edges of our feet on the end of the platform, and an employee just poked us with their fingers and tipped us off. They told us that with two people if we jumped, we could go off-center and lob our way down instead of gently falling.
It was a rush! We fell down towards the river and then ever so gently we were pulled up in a swinging motion and then glided back down through the air. A couple more bobs until the rope was taught and we were hanging upside down. It was indescribable and I highly recommend to anyone considering it. Now comes the cringy part (if being naked in public isn’t already cringy to you). An employee on a floaty raft rowed his way to us, and then with our heads grazing the raft, he unhooked our bungies and we flopped down onto the raft, but since we went tandem our feet were still tied together. So I felt like a naked flopping fish trying to get my bearings, sit up right, and get unhooked from Dax. Looking back, it was hilarious, but it felt a bit vulnerable.
Within a minute we were deposited back to the river bank, walked back up the stairs, collected our clothes, and then…. Whew. Adrenaline kicked in. Smiles from ear to ear. Words wouldn’t come to our mouths. We just started laughing with wide eyes. We drove about 5 minutes and then I got crazy horny from the adrenaline rush and told Dax to pull over. We fucked in the rental car (hot!) on the side of the road (hot!!). It was one of those carnal clawing at each other thrusting hard kinds of fucking. After we released that energy and calmed down, one of us asked if we wanted to do it again. With a twinkle in our eyes, we made a U-turn and headed back.
The employees recognized us and were shocked we came back. They said we could only do it twice because something to do with our bodies, blood circulation, etc. So we headed back up, stripped, jumped tandem again (I was too nervous to swan dive by myself), flopped like a fish onto the raft. After we dressed and were walking back down the wooden stairs, a Canadian reporter and cameraman asked if they could interview us. For which we said yes. And looking back, it was not our most eloquent moment. Again, we were wild eyed and smiling from the rush and I think all our brains could muster was “it was amazing!”.
So, after this unforgettable experience, our other claim to fame is that we have now been on the Canadian evening news, talking about naked bungee jumping, and they even got a shot of our tandem fall and we can say we’ve been on national television with our bits and faces blurred out. We are proud.
